Recently I decided to upgrade my desktop after six years.
I hooked up a new H370 AORUS Gaming 3 WIFI with a i5-9600k and 2 sticks of DDR4 ram, each 8 gigs. I connected it to my new CX650 PSU.
When I flipped on the PSU in the back of the desktop, all I got was one flash of light from the mobo. So then, I pressed the power button and nothing.
I'm pretty dumbfounded now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nvm, figured it out potentially. When I bought the CPU, I thought that it came installed to support the 9th gen. Turns out, I gotta installed hte update first. Im so dumb. Anyways, I'll either be changing out the motherboard or changing out the cpu for compatibility.

I suggest listing memory part number and/or link to it.

Your H370 Chipset motherboard requires a BIOS update to F11 before a 9th Gen i5-9600k will work.

Most people get the 390 Chipset motherboard that does not require a different CPU that works with an early BIOS version.

I replaced my 9600k with an 8600k, making it compatible now. However, it still won't turn on. Just a single blink.
