Hello, I'm having somewhat of an odd issue which I'm a little scared could be an undetected virus of some sort at this time, I've ran multiple scans and cleared lots of files don't worry... As well as my pc being VERY clean, I was left super confused.
When turning on my pc the red led indicator on my motherboard comes on. Now I know what typically causes this and I ran through the simpler stuff first.
After no success I ran to the store got some thermal paste, cleaned off my CPU and cooler, and reseated it.
Temps dropped a decent amount, but the indicator still come on, I've reseated my ram and checked all connections throughout the pc. forgot to mention I reset all bios settings also..
The weirdest part is when I open task manager the led goes away and when i close it it comes back.. ive tested it multiple times.... Is this an integrated feature on the motherboard or something because it assumes you are looking at task manager or am I cooked?? plz help
listed specs below
Asus Prime Motherboard
NVidia RTX 3060,
i7 12th gen,
700w PSU
24gb ram
