I am using MSI B550 gaming plus motherboard. The problem is the M.2 slot 1 doesn't detect SSD when tested with Ryzen 5600, 5600x and 5700x processor. But the M.2 slot 2 is working fine with these processors.
But when I tested with Ryzen 5600G processor both the M.2 slots are working fine.
M.2 slot 1 is gen 4 supported and M.2 slot 2 is gen 3 supported. My SSD is Samsung 980 pro 500GB Gen 4.

Can anyone help me with this trouble?

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? What OS are you working with?

M.2_1 is wired to the processor/APU while M.2_2 is wired to the chipset so even if you dropped in a Ryzen 3 processor, the second slot would operate due to the chipset and it'll effectively run at PCIe3.0x4 speeds.

I am using the latest bios and windows 11 24H2. M.2_2 is working with every processor. But the problem is M.2_1 is working with only APU. But not working with any non G processor

If you look around our forums, you'll notice how many people say I have the latest version only for us to bring to their attention that there were updates pending. So I'll ask again, what BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

Have you tried dropping all Ryzen 5000 series processors listed in your opening post, onto another known working motherboard with the 980 Pro on the M.2 slot wired to to the CPU to rule out your board being the root of the issue?

My BIOS version is 7C56v1J3(Beta version).
Yes I tested another motherboard. It is working properly.

One last thing you can do is to clear the CMOS. Disconnect from the wall and display, then remove the CMOS battery, press and hold down the power button for 30secs to drain any residual power, then reseat the battery after 30mins.

Since the drive and processor pairing work on another motherboard, you've come to the logical conclusion as to who the culprit is in your build, i.e, it's your motherboard(or it's BIOS).
