[SOLVED] Mouse and Mic cut out when using certain programs?

My friend has a HyperX Cloud 2 headset, and a Corsair M55 RGB PRO mouse.
When he does certain tasks, the mic cuts out. It ranges from different things to streaming on discord causes it to cut out entirely. He can play Phasmophobia and it will cut out after a few minutes of playing. The mic stays broken until he unplugs it and plugs it back in, but only if he's closed the program that was causing the issue. Playing a game like Halo MCC with push to talk causes no issues from our tests.
With the Corsair M55 RGB PRO mouse, it will stop working if he plays certain games with it, mostly Phasmophobia again. It works fine on menus, but when he gets into the actual game it will work for about 2 seconds before it stops working again. In this same case, he has to close the program and unplug the mouse and plug it back in. However, we tried using a generic mouse he had around the house and it worked fine with whatever we used it with on the same computer, including Phasmophobia.
We think this might be a driver issue with both of them, but we've tried updating the drivers as well as going as far as resetting his entire Windows 10 but none of these fixed the issue.
Anyone know any ways we could diagnose this issue better or has anyone else run into similar issues?

Your friend seems to have a capable platform. I'm leaning towards the system having the wrong drivers on the platform, older BIOS version, older OS version or a culmination of all of the prior. If the APU was used prior to the RTX 3060, then it's perhaps that you need to uninstall your GPU drivers and reinstall your RTX drivers a new in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

We're going to need a little more information. Please parse the specs to your friend's system like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

As for your friend's platform, check and see what BIOS version the motherboard is on, the version of the OS(not edition) if on Windows 10 and if reinstalling all relevant drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator, changes your issue. Include the make and model of the PSU and it's age.
