MPEG2 Problems

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.basics (More info?)

I am just wondering why when I try to playback a MPEG2 file my Laptop with
XP home shuts down and re-boots.

MPEG1 files play fine.

Any Ideas???

look in the event viewer for STOP code and other info.
