Mr. Do's Castle dip switches doesn't work. It only gives 2 lives. I'm sure this
is a known bug??

You know, when you first posted this I thought, "Of course it is, we all
know it too NOOB."

But I've been looking for two days and can't find a word about it now.
Heck, I can't even find the mame bugzilla site.

My worthless memory tells me that it is a bug, but a bug in the original
hardware - the real game acts like that too.

I could be wrong.

Been there, read the info, the dipswitches worked fine pre-v36.

Thanks to MCR stumbling across his CD with Mame v.31 on it, I got hold
of his old docastle.zip and downloaded the Mame v.31 binary.

I couldn't get it to use sound on my XP machine but got it working
with five lives in silence. I also tried it on my girlfriend's 98
machine, with sound and also with five lives but also with an annoying
screen flicker.

Gonna fiddle some more tomorrow.

If anyone wants the old docastle romset just send an e-mail and I'll
attach it back, its a whopping 32k though!

It'll probably be fixed in the next update if it hasn't already. They
finally decided it was OK to clock the cpu a hair faster than the schematics
showed in order to make it work.
