I just started a brand new computer build. Specs:
Mobo - MSI K8N Neo2
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3200+
RAM - 2 Corsair 512 DDR PC-3200
Video Card - GeForce 4 Ti-4800
and so forth...
After I assembeled it, I tried booting to install a fresh Windows XP, and
it won't get past the BIOS screen.
I thought the keyboard first, since it wouldn't light up at all. But I
swapped it with 3 other keyboards known to work (USB and PS2), and nothing
changed. I tried swapping power supplies, nothing. I tried swapping RAM,
nothing. So I sent in the motherboard and got it replaced with the same
exact model. When I tried that mobo, same thing happened. I tried
swapping everything again, nothing worked.
Anyone have any ideas?
