Question MSI M670 CPU upgrade

Hi
I have an old MSI M670 laptop and want to upgrade it's CPU.
It currently have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core 1,7 ghz CPU, but I would like something faster/better.
Do you know which CPU's is supported by the laptop?

Have you confirmed if the CPU is upgradeable?
Like nearly all laptops, CPUs tend to be soldered onto the motherboard, and therefore not upgradable.

I have tried to look through your laptops specification and manuals and I believe the same applies to the M670. I cannot see any specification that states it can be upgraded, and based on it's age I would also believe this to be true.

It is upgradeable. You can turn a switch and it pops out.

Problem is very few laptop manufacturer's [with (sometimes) the exception of HP], publish the information you are seeking. I suggest you contact MSI customer support.
