First off here's my components:
i5 4690k
MSI Z87 GD65
GTX 770 2Gb
Corsair CX750 (PSU)
RAM (The problem) - 2x 4Gb Ballistix Sport @1600MHz
(I've codenamed my Ram sticks so you can follow along)
I had just upgraded to Windows 10 (just to see how it was)but it kept crashing and when I rebooted it gave me the Debug Codes "10, 19, 15, 55" (Without the "00")
So I tried to post by trying every Dimm slot on my motherboard (from Dimm1 - Dimm4) with one ram stick (Red) (At this point I should say that Dimm1 and Dimm2 have never worked for me at least with these RAM sticks) but after trying every Dimm slot I got the same Debug code over and over. So I thought it was the Ram, so i tried every Dimm slot again with the other ram stick (Blue) until I got a post on Dimm3, but it was a post loop? boot loop? It kept turning on and turning off. So I cleared the CMOS and tried everything again. Had the same conclusion with the First ram stick (Red) with every Dimm slot but with the other Ram stick (Blue) it didn't work on Dimm3 this time but worked on Dimm4 (This is what I'm so confused about, why would It do this?) So My conclusion was that the (Red) Ram stick was broken and that there's something up with my motherboard?
Does this mean that its my RAM, my Motherboard or both? Should I get new ram or is it not worth it because it might be the motherboard?
Thanks for helping. (sorry for the long question/problem)
