Must I worry about the size of the memory?

Hello I am going to buy these memories HYPERX HX316LS9IBK2/8 8GB (2X4GB) SO-DIMM DDR3L CL9 HYPERX IMPACT BLACK DUAL KIT for my hp 15-d012sv laptop.I open the laptop to see the memory that is currently installed and i found that there were smaller than the memories I want to buy!The question is that can some laptops have smaller memories? Please answer quickly!

Those look like typical laptop Dimms.

It IS possible that HP engineered proprietary Dimms but I'd be surprised.
Can you have a picture of the memory DIMMs in your laptop?

The HP don't have heatsink on top.
