Still love my kenwood 72x, it seems that the first drives they put out were the ones you want the newer ones suffered from quality control issues. Still has a problem with blue media however, but dam, its quiet and kicks the sh** out of anything else out there.

Another Cookie? Who is going to pay my dentist bill?

Thats your OEM Radeon scoring that low. Thats kinda on par for OEM board untweaked.

Check out some of the other threads for Radeon tweaks. You should be able to get that puppy up to mid 7K after bios tweak and 7206 driver.

Congratulations for having the most thread views. As an award for such service to the community, I recommend you get yourself an XP1800+ and an Iwill XP333, to improve your benchmarks.

I can combine whatever combinatins of hardware I own... I didnt use the P4 2.0Ghz as it was an overkill. You lost the debate and badly even when others said its possible and posted links proving such. all you can do is call me a liar (you have no other defense) when I put my cards on the table. And your still in denial. You even claimed my screen shot was edited in photoshop... Wouldnt I have put a score of 7500+?? what a retard. You didnt even know me or the hardware I owned yet you were already calling me a liar. No thanks, I dont need the aggravation. That XP1800+ and an Iwill XP333 will not improve my benchmarks. I would much rather have a machine that runs perfectly that a POS AMD. If you think that can beat my benchmarks then by all means try.

I never said a gf3 and a p4@1.7ghz could get 7500, I said that YOUR NON OVERCLOCKED GF3 COULDNT GET IT, which it didnt, as you proved by admitting you were "wrong" in saying it was overclocked. Furthermore, you posted a score supposedly proving you were telling the truth, but your videocard was HUGHLY overclocked....oh did I forget to mention you used a 2ghz p4.(instead of a 1.7ghz like you origionally claimed.)

Now re read the whole thread and realize how stupid it makes you look everytime you bring it back up!

Ahh, Matisaro. Ok, after reading most of this thread, I have lost some respect for you and gained respect for Fugger. Fugger is not a troll nor was he lying, as far as I can tell. You didn't give him a chance to breath!! What's with that? You had to contradict everything he said, constantly. Maybe he wasn't lying....why would he lie about something as simple as 3DMark2001? Come on, man, if you constantly bash him about his 3DMark2001 score, then some people might start considering YOU a troll. Just get over it! See, if you lower texture detail in the display properties, and use some tweaks in NVMAX and other programs, then his score would be possible. It is possible that he overclocked his graphics card but forgot that he left it overclocked. See, if my 1.33GHz Athlon + GeForce2 MX-400 can get ~3700 in 3DMARK2001 (overclocked of course, no other tweaks) then I'm sure Fugger can get ~7500 with a bit of tweaking. Seriously, give Fugger a break.

First off let me start that this thread is almost 7 months old maybe more.

Amd_man, after reading your reply it is I who has lost a little respect for you.

Some clarifications for you.

A: this is before det 4's, the score he mentioned on the system he mentioned was ludicrious, and it was untill later that he cl;arified both the overclocking situation, and also that he couldnt even hit 7500 ON A P4 2GHZ LET ALONE A 1.7

B: He claimed to have run the test at default, and that was the first thing I called him on, his so called pic proof did not show any of the settings, and 7500 at 640x480x16 is not impossible on his system.(my origional call was for him to post his result link to confirm his settings)

C:The reason I went so hard itno him is because he used his FAKE 3dmark score(fake at the time and still fake today!) to insult other people on their scores in another thread, a thread which resulted in his posting of this one with his shoddy screen shot as proof.(which I believe he ran at 640x480).
d:saying fugger is not a troll especially from you is hilarious, he is one of the biggets trolls on this forum, but I will contain my statements to this particular thread.
e: His origional claim, was a NON OVERCLOCKED gf3, THAT CLAIM IS WHY I CALLED HIM A LIAR. It is impossible and his OWN 3dmark link proved it(as you can see I contacted the owner of that 3dmark score and he told me his card was waaaaay overclocked, overclocked in fact beyond even fuggers final score overclock.
F: as I stated tons of times in that thread, I would not let him get away with his lie not based on the fact he was lying, but because of the fact he would insult others based on his pathetic lie.

In the end fugger achieved a score which surpassed his origional claim, he did so by changing the configuration of the origional claims system.

I dare fugger, I dare him, to get 7500 with det 3 drivers(12.41's as he claimed).
ON a p4 1.7ghz
ON a geforce 3 at stock, or overclocked to what he said in his post.

NOT on a super overclocked gf3(which he said he did not have in his posts)
NOT on a p42ghz
AND NOT WITH DET 4 DRIVERS.

Amd_man, I hope you will re read the thread more slowly and see where I and everyone else was coming from. FUGGER, was lying plain and simple, just because later on he was able with new hardware to attain his stated score changes nothing, when he made the first post, claiming 7500 on default settings on 3dmark2001, with a p41.7ghz and a non(or mildly overclocked depending on if you accept his bs "i didnt know" excuse) gf3 ON THE 12.41 DRIVERS, he was LYING!

Well, he was only retaliating....at least he was in this thread. However recently, Fugger has actually been helping people and avoiding insults. Well, I'll tell you what sounds fishy about Fugger's story. First he says he has an unoverclocked 1.7Ghz P4 then a 1.8GHz P4. I'll give him the fact that he forgot that his graphics card was overclocked. You know what I'm going to do right now? I'm going to tweak my GeForce2 MX-400 and see what I get. I'm betting I could probably get ~4500. Well, we'll see. I'll report back, asap.

He first said he had a 1.7ghz p4, then he was only barely able to reach his score with a 2ghz p4 with a higher video card overclock, now come on, what does that look like to you?

Moved memory up to 260, and core to 545 I believe where I left off, The image started tearing in dragon gothic and bit the dust in nature with a lockup. I rebooted and have tearing in everything even just staring at the desktop.

My 7360 score was with overclocked video card @ 220/515. you will notice the power strip in bottom right corner. thats the easiest way to overclock stock drivers when coolbits doesnt work.

I was pushing to beat cathar, when I realized he has deselected test in order to complete benchmarks. I am finding other high scores like this??? Also, I had just overtaken this guy in every catagory of test.

After seeing that post of 2300 from an AMD 1.4 and a Geforce3 It seems the user needs to work a bit harder to squeeze more out.
Why did he have to bang on about laughing at the AMD. Why can't you offer advice instead of useless comments like those above. If you are the Geforce tweaking god then pass on your amazing knowledge.
