Ok, so I'm late 🙂

The winner of the highly sought after "Rob" award is
Vampire: The Masquerade

Honestly, this game has everything, strong storyline, decent graphics,
nonlinear, RPG elements, its big, (there's a whole lotta game there folks)
and strippers!
Anybody who thought Deus Ex was good should go out and buy this game
immediatly, you'll love it.

I loved Deus Ex. I'm afraid to get this game though because of all the
bugs/glitches that exist. I know that a patch is out but it doesn't fix
all the problems.

BTW: The full name of the game is Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.
Without the Bloodlines bit at the end of the title, your post actually
refers to a game released several years ago. 😉

I hit one showstopper where it would CTD at the same spot about 2/3 of the
way thru the main plot. The patch fixed it, other than that there was one
other point where I got stuck in a corner but I had luckily quiksaved just
before. Have some courage man! dont deny yourself

Fine. I'll get it, see what all the fuss is about over Jeneatte.

Lots of big movie downloads ...but no sign of a playerable demo...
We dont usally get them with RPG games....I guess 'cause you cant demo the
multiple
choices...and the big single world approach (rather than the standed FPS
'levels')...
.....but then again GOTHIC 1 & 2 has demos..

Must be a bunch of 15 year olds getting excited over that. All you get is a
black screen for a minute with a bit of grunting and groaning then Jeneatte
goes "I'm soooooooo bored" LOL

Another funny bit is the fortune teller in chinatown. He starts off by
saying something that may be a big hint on the main plot then shatters your
delusions with a joke.

I haven't seen one

I agree, I'm thoroughly enjoying this game and the bugs are almost
non-existent. It's well balanced and plays like an action game even tho it's
really a RPG.

Best of all, I picked this up at local GAME store for £7.98. Talk about
value for money!

Guess the bug scares did me a favour, but i doubt whether there will be a
sequel 'cause Activision must have lost on this one!
