[SOLVED] My brand new hard drive isn't being detected by the bios or device manager...

Hi, I recently bought a brand new Seagate Barracuda 2 tb HDD, and my computer isn't detecting it in the bios or in disk management. I have tried resetting the bios through cmos battery and loading optimized defaults. Heres my full part list:
Ryzen 7 2700x
Gigabyte aorus m pro wifi
Redragon rx 570
Kingston a400 120gb ssd
montech x1 caset-force 16gb ram
Please help!
