i got this dell g7 2 - 3 years ago and the fps on say beamng, grand theft auto v and garrysmod would run 60 - 230 frames or more max, now most games run around 50 and under and theres also alot of stuttering and throttle issues but even when cooled it still doesn't run the same, I've tried everything on yt and it work, I've completely wiped the registry and everything reinstalled windows still nothing, used throttle stop, cortex, msi and still nothing, i even went through the nvidia settings and went through the graphics settings and set all games to use the graphics card, what can i do?

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz
16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB

That sounds like a thermal throttling issue - over time the thermal compound they use between the cpu, gpu and cooler dries out so the temps get worse. This causes the machine to drop clocks to prevent damage so performance slows down. You also often find that a thick layer of dust can build up and block the cooling fins (usually gets in the gap between the fans and the fins) which makes the situation worse.

The solution is to remove the cooling assembly and fans, clean away any dust and remove and re-apply fresh thermal paste. The only thing is these laptops can be tricky to take apart / rebuild... here is a video on a G7 (note you may need to search for your specific model if it's not the same chassis as this):

If you aren't confident to do that I would look for a local computer shop that can do this for you. A good clean and fresh thermal paste can make an old laptop perform like new again.
