Question My computer shutted down on it's own...but.

I was watching videos before bed. Then suddenly my screen and peripherals(mouse, keyboard and headset have rgb) all turned off but the computer was still running. Holding the power button didnt shut it down either. Waited. Nothing changed.

Only way I got it to shut down was the power switch on the PSU unit off/on and started perfectly fine. Event viewer system wise didn't see anything alarming ( that I know of), I also ran malwarebytes premium scan to be sure it wasn't anything malicious...I am just purely confused to be totally honest. I would like some awsners in case of, if it does happen again or some insight of sorts.

Also another thing I have gotten use to but would like to fix is my sound devices start to do "sparkling" noises by time to time. All audio drivers are up-to-date and multiple headphones always repeat this issue.

Thanks for the help in advance o/

Hi there.
Regarding your first issue, has that solved itself when booting back on the PC? How's your motherboard looking? As it seemed it was unresponsive but power was running, that might be the first thing to look at.

Soundwise, are you using cheap cabling? That is the first thing that wears out and causes contacts within the cable resulting in that noises.

Motherboard is brand new from this year. Idk how to "see" if its bad or anything and im not using cables for sound. Its usb wireless for one of the pair i tried but the cabled ones do it as well.

I will assume your problem regarding the PC shutting down has solved itself then. If it has not, please say so so I can try to help.
About sound, does that happen with a specific audio track or with anything you are trying to play?
