My dvdrw cd does not write

Hello, i have written a movie on my sony dvd-rw on my hp pc using nero. However when i'm trying to rewrite the dvd-rw, my pc does not recognize the dvd-rw, it shows as CD. Otherwise it shows as DVD-RAM. Please help

What does it show in Nero application? There is a Disc Check tool in Nero. Check in that and confirm if that too is still showing the disc as CD or DVD.
