Hi,
I just finished building a new PC, everything was running fine until I tried to install AMD graphic drivers, the system slows down and restarts. Then I realized the device manager wasn't detecting my GPU. I've tried a lot of things but I'm running out of ideas and would love some more experienced advice.

Things I've tried:
  1. Fresh windows reinstall
  2. Updated windows and the rest of components drivers(except the motherboard AMD drivers because it uses the same AMD software app that frizes my pc)
  3. Then I thought maybe there are still Nvidia drivers left from my last build(the only components I kept from my old build was the SSD and HHD) sow I run DDU and cleaned AMD/Nvidia/intel drivers.
  4. I took of the CPU, GPU, and RAM and reinstalled them to make sure all was connected properly.
  5. I tried disabling integrated graphics from the BIOS but the INTEGRATED GRAPHICS option is gone.
  6. I tried doing it in safe mode.
Thanks for the time!

Solution
Ok, I got it done, I updated motherboard BIOS, that let me detect the GPU using device manager and updating the graphic drivers from there. Then I used another driver installer because the AMD one bugged out.
I hope this helps if someone runs into the same problem.

Use this GPU-Z tool, and post a screenshot of the GPU screen. What does it say in the DEVICE MANAGER settings, under "Display Adapters" entry?

Is the Monitor's cable plugged into the GPU? What's the make/model of your PSU? Did you plug the PCI-E cables to the Video card?

I managed to get it detected but the drivers still don't want to install:

My PSU Cooler Master MWE Gold 550, and yes I have all my cables connected properly.
Yes the HDMI is on the GPU I can't get signal from the motherboard HDMI

You guys just saved me a lot of hassle. Had the exact same issue with Radeon 5700 XT & B450 Tomahawk Max. Strangely, the download of driver solved it straight away but thought it would be best to update BIOS as well!
