Hey bros,so i'm going to upgrade my pc and i want to know is it worth it or i should get an xbone or a ps4?here's my pc specs that i'm going to get
Cpu:intel i7 4790k
Cpu cooler:cooler master hyper 103
Gpu:msi gtx 970
Ram:16gb 1600mhz kingston
Mobo:msi z97s sli plus
Psu:cooler master v750 gold
Case:cooler master k380 with 3 additional sickle flow x case fans
Os:win 8.1 64bit
So is it worth upgrading? Since consoles are cheaper... or a console will be better?i don't want to upgrade till 3 years from my upgrade is it possible?since i want to run all new games at max settings on a 1080p 60hz monitor @40+fps is that possible?
Thx in advance :)

You get what you pay for. If you want low res low setting gaming that's locked in to allow you to do whatever Sony/MS decide you are allowed to do with their gear then by all means go that route. If you actually want great gaming though, then consoles are not where it's at.

Yeah, and all while its "undergoing RMA" of course. You're a terrible troll. As a PC owner you should know better too. have a nice day.

At 20 FPS maybe.

BS

That IS funny...because have you seen how Crysis 4 looks? Half Life 3?

No?

I mean, we are talking about games which aren't out yet so let's speculate shall we?

Next you'll tell us how awesome Fallout 4 looks on PS4 and how it will be the same or worse on PC.

Seriously. P*** off you troll

You don't know much about Naughty Dog, do you?

No, not 20fps. Often 40-60fps.

Look at the deflection here.

USE ANY PROGRAM YOU LYING TROLL!

Prove ANYTHING of what you say about your 270x, rather than throw around numbers which are impossible to back up.

You are NOT getting over 30FPS on Witcher 3, GTA 5, Crysis 3 or BF4 on ULTRA settings.

It's just BS

dude i said i'm not aginst ps4 nor the xbone i love them they're great but as i said i love pc more and i love mmos...and even the ps4 beats some of the gaming PCs but not the high end ones.that's it.

LOOK AT THE DAMN VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sd10y7nw2J4

You use Fraps for the frame time logs to prove your claims along with a video. Also, try any game that's not a crappy console port with some big textures slapped on it.

Those tests were done with 4xMSAA. I run Battlefield 4 60fps 2xMSAA max settings. Believe what you want, I already proved I can run it 60+fps. You denied it and denied yourself just now.

Secondly, another one of those tests was at 1920x1200p, more than 1080p. That's with 2xMSAA. Even assuming at 2xMSAA I for whatever reason get 53fps, I get 60fps without. Get out of here.

Wow, there's some pent up stuff coming out here.

Consoles are effectively embedded systems and in that regard they do a good job of punching above the weight of their component parts and putting very playable games on the screens of millions of happy people.

If the guy wants to think his system is high end then let him. Perhaps he is happy with the performance he gets from it... Perhaps you wouldn't be, no big deal evidently you have a system your happy with. Happy days, everyone is enjoying THEIR system.

And for what little it counts, while the PS4 has a lacklustre game catalogue up to now... I happen to think it's an amazing piece of technology, how many computers with the processing power, power consumption and affordability could put out even half of what it does and will likely continue to do for years to come.

Is it bleeding edge, no. Does it show us that PC game coders are either lazy or overwhelmed by the choice of different hardware they need to support, IMO yes.
