Hey,

So, my issue is that I did clean install of my windows and encountered an issue when my PC wont properly reboot since it stays on (the motherboard lights are on and fans are spinning) and never shuts down even though all the peripherals turn off (keyboard, mouse, monitors, camera, mic). I found out that it could be caused by hardware that does not shut off correctly. I tried multiple things
  • Updating all drivers
  • Updating bios
  • Removing one peripheral one by one (including monitors with the DP) and rebooting pc
Nothing worked so I tried internal components and BAAAM. I remove all ram stick but one and PC works like a charm. So I put two back and it worked still. But when I put all 4 back in the problem came back.

I have 4 of the same ram sticks only two of them were bought like a week later than the first pair. Its Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro and I have 4*8gb.

And I had them setup as 4 for nearly 8 months without any issue and after the reboot it acts up. Could it be somehow software related? Or one of them is faulty?

What else could I try to check/do?

Thanks in advance for any help.

When you try the RAM sticks alone one by one, do they all work when alone ?
Ok I tried all of them one by one. And it doesnt metter which one I use as long as I mix the two pairs the system wont shutdown.

How could that be? They are exactly the same model, timings, and frequency.... can I switch some settings in bios to prevent this from happening?

(Also I had these RAM for few months and never had an issue. It started to appear after I clean installed an OS)
