Question My "w" key sometimes types and sometimes doesn't

My "w" key sometimes activates when pressed and sometimes doesn't I've tried cleaning it. Another thing is holding it upside down makes it work perfectly fine. Mechanical Btw.

I had this issue on my beloved Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000. After disassembly, the membrane layer had jammed into the problematic keycap. Super easy fix.

Sadly to say I don't have a membrane Keyboard.
