Need advice on PC case

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone could give me some advice regarding a PC case I was thinking of buying.

I've never really heard of a brand called 3R System and came across a PC case model called r700 which comes with something called an Imon, it is on a website and is going to for a really good price like $10.

Could anyone tell me if this is worth buying or would I just be wasting my time? Or should I just stick to brands like Coolermaster or Antec? any feedback would be appreciated cheers.

its a micro atx case so it wont fit a full size motherboard . Is that important?

And how does the air get in the front? Theres a fan there but where are the vents?

Spend money on a good case .

They both seem really good, but the most thing im worried about is air flow and space to work or wire managment

they both have excellent airflow and are both outstanding cases. However, the HAF 932 is larger and has the best airflow...so it should probably be your choice.

HAF 932 also has better cable management options.
But the $80 price difference might buy you something to make the whole system better, video card upgrade for example.
And the CM 690 is at least "good enough" at providing good airflow and cable management that I'd have to say getting the more expensive case won't make your system any "faster".
But the case is also the only component you have to look at day after day so your personal style choice is at least as important as functionality.

I went to the web site and looked at the case. It is a smaller case with very poor ventilation, airflow, and cooling. Cable management will also be a problem. It definitely looked like you would be wasting your time. I also checked out their terms and conditions page. There is an awful lot of fine print.

As you already mentioned yourself, you would be better off sticking with an Antec or CoolerMaster case. Buy what you like that meets your requirements.

Thanks for the feedback, I think I'm going to buy this other one I saw on the same site 3R System - R102 - Black which is only going for $1 dollar and weighs only 3.6kgs.

I mean its just a dollar what's the worst that could happen? if things go south at least I could chuck it off a building and buy a Coolermaster, cheers theramman for the links, keep you all posted.

Just remember, you get what you pay for. Expect cheap plastic parts, cracks from shipping, shorted out front panel connectors, and TERRIBLE airflow. But like you said, it's only a dollar.

I've built two computers with the 690 case. Lot's of airflow and space for fans. No problems fitting all of my stuff, one build was with a 4870x2. Both the 4870x2 and the q6600 have been oc'd and there are 0 issues with heat.

I love the size of the HEF! But to me functionality is way more important then style, i like room and airflow. What yall think?

if it's new and he's selling it to you for $70, absolutely buy it.

Although I am partial to the cm690 or haf the antec 900 is an outstanding case.

I haven't seen actual sales figures but I think the Antec 900 is probably one of the most popular gaming cases ever built. Go for it and be happy!

Yeah ive seen a few other ppl wanting the 900s
The only thing im worried about is one of the reviews was talking about a full size graphics card which im going to have ATI 4780 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102801
Fits a bit tight with the HDD but i dont think this will be a problem maybe aslong as i dont have a HDD and graphics side by side...

You are going to have that with pretty much any mid tower case. The quality or price of the case won't make much of a difference with that. The easy fix is to move the HD accordingly.
