need help system not booting!!!

i am very frustrated with this DFI NF4 lanparty Ultra-d board. attempting to set it up using the manual seems like chunks of info is missing and there website is under contruction for the knawledgebase.

i received my stuff today from newegg and began putting this system together very carefully.

AMD 64 3200+ Venice Core
DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D
Emermax 535 PSU
GF 7800 GT EVGA
Crucial Balistics PC3200
WD raptor 74 SATA

i think i got it all down


now to my problem

after assembling it my board shows diagnostics of all 4 lights lit up which means system startup but doesnt go past it the next one should be only 3 lights which means CPU is detected then ram is 2 , vga is 1 and system butup is all unlit.
what is my problem with this board am i missing something? is my CPU bad or do i have some CMOS corruption or what is going on? anyone experience this issue

i tried that, i even put them in slot 2 and 4 (orange) like most threads say and still same issue...all fans work i even hear the HD run nothing heating up...what da heck is it already 4 hours trying to read and figure out.. i already took CPU out once to see what is going on still same issue

just tried, pulled everything including all the case leds except the CPU and HSF and it still same result

my CPU is bad???

the 4 red leds are litup meaing that it started but CPU is not started and its only the board and CPU together, its supposed to go to 3 meaning the CPU is detected but without anything.....jeez this killin my nerves

your right i had only connected the main one
but the emermax does not have one connector that is next to main onethe 12v power , i missed the 5v/12v power, arent thoughs out or are they in?



di stupid the emermax had everything except that connector, and my cheap psu that came with the case has one BAHHHHHH...getting second beer now

wussy do u have any instructions on setting up the power?

i have ATX power in
next to is is 12v which i do not have extra(its atttached to the atx insert which i can detatch but looks like is ment for 939 board am i wrong? its the one with 4 pins)

next is one above the chipset fan 5v/12v power i have connected that.



great i just read in emermax manual that the 12v connector is to supply power to the CPU, should i detatch it and connect into the 12v?

i am missing a 12v connector on the emermax 535 what do i need to do? can i just mod it and remove the one from my GENERAL PSU and attach it to one of the 12v cables that are avalable?

ok sorry wussy looks like i was the idiot who didnt thoughroly looks throught the emermax box and find these<A HREF="http://www.enermax.com.tw/upload/allin1cable0311.jpg" target="_new">12v connector</A>

yup, gonna setup winxp tommorow, update bios and all the good stuff, everything is excellent,my fault i didnt check the emermax box for the special connector, after i connected it worked great, i set my ram to dim2, dim4(orange) after which everything went flawlessly, am very glad its not cpu. thanks wussy
