Question Need help with missing WiFi on tablet after performing a hard reset ?

Good day,

I bought this Coolpad tablet for my nephew, this past Christmas. Just a few months later now and it was moving sluggish so I had the bright idea to do a hard reset (hold down the power / volume up to gain access to the boot menu), but now when its booting up after the factory reset, I can't get past the first screen because its asking for a WiFi connection. I suspect that the wireless drivers on the tablet were wiped clean off the tablet, any ever had a similar issue?

I've attached an image showing the screen where its stuck at. usually you would see the wireless symbol in the top right corner, but its missing in the image.

The reset likely disabled Wifi or went to some default settings not applicable to your wireless environment.

Try "Add new network".

Basically just a "do over" as when the tablet was originally set up for its' host wireless network.

So i tried the "add new network" I put in my network name but it still doesn't find anything. do you by chance know if i can some how reinstall the android OS using a PC?

Not familiar with the CoolPAD.

However, I did find a number of online links that may prove helpful.

For example:

Google search criteria = "Coolpad tablet reinstall OS".

For the most part all I can suggest for the moment is to do some searching on your own and then revise the search criteria as you read and learn. You may have already tried somethings....

In the meantime, someone else may respond to this thread as well.
