need help with Q6600

Hi!
I've got new mb and overclocked the cpu to 3 ghz, temps are 49-53 idle and up to 67c at load
the temps are seem too high, even if the cpu at stock speed the max teps i got were 58c after playing Warhead for 20 minutes. (Used real temp and HW monitor to check the temps)

MB: Striker II Formula
CPU: Q6600 G0 @3.0ghz ( Cooler: Zalman CNPS 9500A LED)
Ram: OCZ Reaper @1066 5-5-5-15 2T
VGA: Inno3d 8800 GT OC with Du ORB Cooler
HDD: ST Barracuda 320 GB


my voltages:
cpu voltage: 1.4375
cpu pll (don't know what it is) 1.50
cpu vtt (don't know what it is) 1.40
memory: 2.20
NB core (don't know what it is) 1.20
SB core (don't know what it is) AUTO
1.2HT 1.20
Bridge core (don't know what it is) 1.20

Can somebody tell me the meanings of features i don't know?
Is my CPU cooler is good enough ?(I used arctic silver paste whith it and it seated properly)

Your cpu voltage is set way higher then it needs to be. For 3.0ghz it should run at 1.26v. I have mine running at 3.2ghz using 1.27v full load. These are voltages read under CPU-Z, bios voltages are usually set a tad higher because of vdroop etc.

ya lucuis is right, when u lower the volts ur temps will go down

I have a Q6600 in a Asus P5Q Deluxe. It's at 3.2 Ghz with 1.40 V. It hovers around 65 C under full load and 41 C at idle but it needs a little more thermal paste.

Agreed, lower the Vcore.

Your Vcore is a bit high. I have my Q6600 running rock solid at 3.3ghz with a 1.33Vcore at 58c max under load, 41c idle on air. As others have said, that'll make huge difference. Also, you never mentioned the HSF you're running it with. If you're using the stock cooler, a decent after market cooler should solve all your problems,
