My Current Personal setup: (Not overclocked)
CPU
: Ryzen 5 2600
Motherboard: Asus PRIME B450M-A
Memory: 16GB Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz DDR4 DRAM (8 * 2)
Graphics: Asus Nvidia GTX 1060 6 GB
Monitor: ASUS VG248QE 24 inch 144Hz
PSU: Corsair TX650M
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212
Storage:
Western Digital WD SN550 250GB NVMe Internal SSD - Windows 10 and projects
Crucial® MX500 500GB SATA 2.5 - games
Seagate Barracuda 4 TB Internal Hard Drive - movies and backups
Crucial® MX500 500GB SATA 2.5 - ubuntu setup

Office setup:
MacBook Pro 16
2.6GHz 6‑core Intel Core i7
512GB SSD
16GB of 2666MHz DDR4 onboard memory
LG 32UN880-B 4K UltraFine 32 inch

I play lot of games with my rig mostly PvE or single player games and PvP very rare.
Destiny 2 (Main),
Witcher 3,
Hitman 2 - 3
League of legends,
Assassin's Creed Valhalla,
Horizon Zero Dawn,
Gear Tactics,
Borderlands
And more of indie games (DST, Rimworld, XCOM, Snowrunner and others).

I have MacBook Pro 16 but I can't throw whatever I want in it, it's strictly for office so I'm not completely focusing on gaming.
New rig should support both 4k gaming and personal web projects and I also have interests in indie game development as well.
So I'm planning upgrade my current setup gradually bcz we are dealing with graphics card crisis now. So I was thinking to upgrade cpu and motherboard and other stuff fist then graphics card at last:
Ryzen 5 5600X or Ryzen 9 5900X
X570 .?
Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black Dual 140 mm Fan CPU Air Cooler .?
RTX 3070 or 3080 (I think upgrading to 3070 or 3080 would take another 4-6m as per current situation)

Overall I did some research on internet but I am very confused on "how do I make a best rig with minimal replacement of current rig".?

Location - India, Bangalore

Thanks,

You can upgrade to a Ryzen 5000 series cpu with your current motheroard...

Just update to the latest bios and you should be good... the B450 board should be fine for a 5600X. If you want to go for a 5900X you probably need something with a stronger VRM so upgrading the motherboard would make more sense.

PRIME B450M-A is not very good at OC have faced few stability issues before so had to stick with base clock, so I'm thing of Asus TUF X570-plus with R5 5600X + RTX 3080
