Question NEED HELP!

So my question is this, is it dangerous for the CPU if you start your newly built PC just to check if the BIOS is updated for Intel 13th gen without the mobo having the 13th gen BIOS update?
Tomorrow I will receive a delivery with Intel Core i7-3700KF and Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X DDR4. I've done research and many say you need to update the BIOS. Can I assemble the whole computer and check if it works or should I run a USB flash installation first without assembling everything?

There's no harm in assembling and seeing if the PC will boot.

It won't if the BIOS does not support the 13700KF.

It may be that recently manufactured versions of your motherboard have been updated to include the proper BIOS for the 13700KF. I don't know.

If by chance the board shipped with the correct BIOS, I'd probably like to know that so I could avoid an unnecessary flash.....which has some risk. One way to find out is to assemble the PC and see if it fails to boot.
