OK I just tried a new ati radeon 5830 on my new gaming rig
AMD Phenom 2*6 1090t
6gb ddr3 ram
600w psu
but in most games it is not performing much better than my other rig in which i have a msi gtx 260 1792mb single card
in fact in far cry 2 benchmarking even when overclocked it cant keep up with the stock gtx 260.in crysis warhead the average frame rate is better but the minimum frame rate is horrible.
Crysis warhead
ati 5830
Min:15
MAX:45
AVG:32
GTX 260
MIN:20
MAX:37
AVG:29
but bcoz of the low minimum framerate the game was much more enjoyable on the gtx 260 than the 5830.is the 5830 really more powerful than the gtx 260 as ppl say?coz it isnt providing much increases in performance against the gtx 260.in all games i tried the averages of 5830 are higher but the minimums are lower than the 260 so the games are not much enjoyable?is something wrong with my rig?
my other rig
Intel core i7 870
6GB DDR3 RAM
650W PSU
MSI GTX 260 CORE 216 SUPERCLOCKED 1792MB SINGLE CARD LIGHNING EDITION
AMD Phenom 2*6 1090t
6gb ddr3 ram
