[SOLVED] New build with CPU temps at 50C/122F at idle?!

Just finished my new build and I'm getting a max temp reading of 136F with no load in HWMonitor. Not sure how this is happening but using ICUE readings range from low to mid-80s, with Ryzen Master readings are low to mid-90s, but within HWMonitor the readings skyrocket to 120+. Not sure which reading is accurate and not sure how my temps are this high while idling? What can I do?? Thanks in advance!

Solution
High idle temperatures are common among these newer ryzen cpu's, its nothing to worry about. My 3900x idles around 55c according to hw monitor.

I'm not sure how accurate hwmonitor is for ryzen CPU's but when I use ryzen master it seems to be a ~6c difference for my 3900x between hwmonitor and ryzen master. There seems to be some complexity behind how temperatures are reported so it seems different programs may give different readings, which is the most accurate I'm not sure.

But one thing for sure is again- high idle temperatures are common among these new ryzen cpu's it seems. There's been a TON of threads about it lately so you're not alone.

But just because it idles on the warm side doesn't mean its gonna overheat when under load...

What cooler are ya using?

The tmpin are all the different sensors on your system,tmpin4 which is the only one with a problem might not even be used/connected or just reporting something completely different, you could try and search based on your mobo what tmpin 4 might be monitoring.
