New computer

I just bought a new computer and I have been trying to download the pictures from my EOS DIGITAL REBEL EOS 300D. I lost the CD that came with the camera, I need to know how I can download my pictures from my camera without the CD.

can you connect the camera via USB cable?

if you can check under My Computer if it shows up as a removable drive
