Question New CPU

So i purchased a ryzen 3700x today as an upgrade to my ryzen 2600. I installed said cpu and my aio fans would not spin and also i was having no signal for my monitor. So i reinstalled my ryzen 2600 and everything worked as it should again. im confused on what the issue is. I know all my components are compatible with the 3700x. so im extremely cconfused if anyone can lend me a hand in figuring this out.

Was the CPU seated properly? CPU cooler seated properly?

Did your computer turn on and stay on, or shutdown?

Whats your PSU?

Update your bios to the latest version with the 2600 installed.

Cpu was seated properly so was the cooler i took it out and put it back in and resat everything repeatedly including ram and gpu.

Psu is 750 watt

Okay thank you! Im not entirely savvy to everything just yet my stepdad helped me build it as its my first pc. Is there a specific way to update bios? Im sure i could find the answer after a quick search but somce were here thought id ask.

So I updated my bios the update went great the computer reset itself and everything was working fine no issues. I updated in order to upgrade and install my new 3700x cpu. So installed it and pc wouldn’t turn on I reseated my ram and the motherboard light comes on now but nothing still when I hit the power button I got no idea what’s going on.

Hey man! So I updated the bios and I’m still having the same issue! The computer will boot light and everything come on, but my aii fans won’t spin and my monitor has no signal any suggestions?

Hey guys! So I bought a new cpu and installed it after updating bios and everything. But I’m having an issue where my aii fans won’t spin and my monitor has no signal? My computer starts up everything turns on expect those 2 things. Any ideas?

So I actually fixed the issue of not powering on, it was bent pins on the new cpu I straightened them out and everything turns on but my main issue now is my monitor has no signal since I put the new cpu in which was an issue before and I was told to update my bios which I did but still the same issue.

there was bent pins but I straightened them easily and the computer boots just no signal on monitor like before I updated bios.
