[SOLVED] NEW GPU NOT DISPLAYING

I tried to install a new GPU into my system but nothing displays on the monitor and on the Motherboard the VGALED is lit red

I put my old GPU back in and no problems but the new just wont post anything...

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

My System:

MB - Asus M5A97
CPU - AMD Phenom II X6
PSU - Corsair TX650
RAM - Kingtson 8GB

NEW GPU - SAPPHIRE RADEON RX590

Yes, all pins have been connected.

Turns out I needed to update my bios. All sorted, thanks for the help
