Hello everyone,

I built a new pc last week and I sometimes (1 time per day ) while it is open it freezes and I have no control of anything.
It doesn't only occcurs while gaming so I can't figure out the problem. I check my tempratures and they are below 70 C so its ok from that aspect.

The problem is that GPU when this time comes goes up to 100% usage but it's fans don't work because tempratures are not high.

Windows are updated and drivers are up to date (I am not sure about BIOS and if needs any new update)

So I am not sure what might occurs this problem and if you need any more informations ask me.

Thanks in advance!

GPU's have changed so much over the past couple of years that I am not longer sure of a good program with an error check to recommend for checking GPU stability. Benchmark programs are not a test. They read performance ,not if there is an issue, so look for one that has an error check. OCCT has it but has not been updated in many years so I am not sure it will suffice for new GPU's.

First of, Welcome to Toms Hardware! Secondly can you describe when the issue persisted. It may be a broken driver and you need to roll back. Or there could be something wrong with your HDD. It is probably a GPU problem.

Instead of guessing at what the issue could be, do a full suite of stress test programs to try and force the issue to happen and/or to find which component is causing the issue. Once you know which test doesn't pass then you know where to start looking for answers whether it be a driver, hardware or BIOS setting that is off.

Don't rush the testing this can take up to a week to find but usually far less time is needed. The point is don't rush the tests let them run the full time.

Start with memtest as this needs to be tested through its own UI and eliminates the windows 10 OS as an issue during this particular test.

When you installed windows 10 ,did you have your Western Digital Blue 1TB connected? If so it can cause strange problems. When installing windows 10, never have any other drives connected other than the boot drive.
I am sorry if I say annything stupid but yes when I installed windows on my SSD I had HDD also connected but where is the problem in this? Also I can't find anything similar of what you said in the Internet

The issue with installing windows 10 with multiple drives is that windows doesn't always install properly. I personally have never had this issue with Win 10 but others have so to make sure there is no issues Microsoft recommends only having one drive hooked up during the install to 100% avoid any issues with the installer.

Like Bgunner said " installing windows 10 with multiple drives is that windows doesn't always install properly" better to be safe than sorry. I saw it happen on a live build on You Tube and from windows report.com : "
"First case – Windows 10 can’t install to this disk"
Solution 1 – Make sure that no additional hard drives are connected

"Sometimes additional hard drive or storage devices can cause this error to appear, therefore you need to disconnect all hard drives except the one that you’re going to use to install Windows 10."

"Users also reported that sometimes USB flash drives or SD cards can interfere with Windows 10 installation, so be sure to remove them all. If needs be, try to install Windows 10 from a DVD."

Ok I will try in near future firstly to check the HDD and SSD next I will do a Windows installation as you said and If nothing fix then I will try the (harder and time-consuming ones). I will keep you informed with progress.
