[SOLVED] New PC DIY-no bios after connecting everything to motherboard

Hi everyone!

I have purchased all the components separately to build my PC for the first time, and I keep running into the same issue. I will link to each of the components I bought, and I have done my best to include pics/video I took of my PC. My main issue is the motherboard is receiving power, the case fan and processor fan turn on, but when I connect the computer to my monitor, I'm not seeing the BIOS screen pop up with the option to install a operating system. My computer does not have any version of Windows pre-installed. My graphics card does not have a PCIE connector, it's one of the models that does not require it. I would really love any help I can get, as I have no idea what could be the problem. I have followed all of the steps on this website for common first time PC builders advice/mistakes.

Thanks in advance!

Solution-

Hi again, thanks for all of the help, I really appreciate it!

I found out what I was doing wrong, the motherboard and RAM I was given both had issues. After sending them back I was able to connect everything to the new motherboard and test it outside the case. I also needed to get a DVI to connect from my monitor to my graphics card, this is the one I bought-https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JYXYSSL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I would appreciate if someone could change my question to solved, I don't have any other issues currently.

The RAM appears to be installed incorrectly, the two RAM sticks should not be close to one another.
RAM should be installed in slots A2 and B2 (2nd and 4th slots from the CPU). I see the RAM in slots B1 and B2.

Thank you for responding to my post! I have moved the RAM sticks to the A2 and B2 slots, and everything is still the same. Is there something else that could be causing the issue? I see others post about graphic cards needing DVI connections, should I plug the DVI in from my monitor to the graphics card, or keep the VGA cable connection I have?

Yes I was, I did purchase and use a DVI cable to connect the video card to my monitor, and I found out that it was the motherboard that had the issue. If I need any more help in the future, when my new motherboard arrives I will make sure to update my post, but I will use the advice I was given when I get my new motherboard in. Thank you for all of your help!
