Hey so i've just built a new PC and for the first time im using an NVME as my boot drive. i was pretty excited since for about 3 year ive been using an old Sandisk 256GB SSD which would boot in around 20-25 seconds. Now im using a Samsung 980 Evo and im seeing start up times of around 40 seconds. According to the Task Manager my last bios time was 43.1 seconds. its nearly 2 times as slow as my SSD. I've been trying to fix this all day and i have no idea whats going on. I'll read the replies in the morning i've had enough of PC's for one day this is making me wanna take up console gaming at this rate.

Specs: RTX 3080, Intel i7 14700K, 32gb DDR3 6000mhz, ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-F

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Did you recyle your storage drives from your old build?
