I have a xp home computer. We went from a dial up to direcway stalite
internet (internet only not tv). My web cam works good but when I go to
connect to a online camera (trutech camarades) it won't connect. It was
working fine before then. I went to the camarades site and the only thing I
came close to figuring out is that xp has its own firewall. Where oh where
🙂...That might not even be it...Can anyone help...
Thanks

Hi,

The firewall is on the advance tab of your network connection's properties.
Do not disable it (dangerous), but rather configure it to allow traffic on
the port needed for that camera (check with the site admin for which port
that is).
