New to overclocking

Hey all,

I am getting a new system probably by the end of may, and I am very interested in overclocking with Intel's Core 2 Duo. Here is the motherboard, RAM and CPU I will be using

CPU: (Sckt775)Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 CPU @ 2.4GHz 1066FSB 2x2MB L2 Cache EM64T

MOTHERBOARD: EVGA nForce 680i SLI Chipset LGA775 FSB1333 DDR2 Mainboard

RAM: Corsair XMS Extreme DDR800 2GB

Assuming stock cooling,

Would it be unreasonable to push this system beyond 3 Ghz? Also can anyone show me some literature on how to actually do the overclock?

If stock cooling is not enough, what do you all recommend I get?

Stock coling will be alittle toasty, you might want to pick up a decient aftermarket cooler.
As far as the Core 2 overclocking, you can hit 3.0Ghz w/o a prob.
