NFSU (Need For Speed Underground) Problem

i got nfsu a while ago. i played it for a while, but today trying to play it again (which i havent since june) it can up with an error reading "a debugger has been detected" "unload the debugger and try again"

please help!!

Sorry could not resist that one. I assume you are not aware of any debugger that you might have installed recently? What have you installed since june? If you can cough that up, it might provide a clue.

ive installed nearly everything on my computer now since june, since i got my computer in may and also play nfsu in may. basically everything on my hd now has been downloaded since june
