Recently Ive been having issues with startup saying OS not found but I got it fixed by reseating RAM. Today tho my pc would turn on but w/o display (no signal/video input) and it won't turn off using the power button. Not sure what's wrong cause Im not very familiar with this stuff. Help please.

No beep even when RAM is removed. But before this error, Id normally hear a beeping sound when removing/removed RAM.

LED lights for mb and gpu are on like normal.

System:

Tuf Gaming mb
MSI Twin Frozr 7
Ryzen 5
Cougar 600W PSU (not sure about specifics)
Win10 Home
DDR4 Fury (2 sticks)
Seagate HDD 1tb (around 600mb used)

Everything is 5yo except for the mb w/c is 2yo.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

No beep codes or diagnostic LEDs?
Updated. Sorry Im not very familiar with all the details of my pc.

A five year old PSU is a likely suspect.

May be at or near its' designed in EOL and starting to falter and fail.

First thing: is all important data backed up at least 2 x to locations away from the system in question? Verify that the backups are recoverable and readable.

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Verify by sight and feel that all connectors, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections are fully and firmly in place.

Use a bright flashlight to inspect for signs of damage: pinch or kinked wires, bare conductor showing, melting, corrosion, browned or blackened areas, moisture, loose or missing screws, swollen components, etc..

Is it possible to swap in another known working PSU? Be sure to use only the cables that come with the swapped in PSU.

I removed everything and put them back but same result. Nothing off about the PSU physically. But there's noticeable corrosion/rusting in the casing around its area. Will try a different one and test again. Thank you.
