No display

I just built a custom computer with a Radeon 6670 HD graphics card. I can't get my comp to display anything when I have the dvi cable going from the router to the graphics card. I can only get a display when I go from VGA to the motherboard VGA. How can I get it to work?

Routers are what you plug modems into, and have nothing to do with your monitor. I assume you meant to say "video card" and not router.

Anyway, you may need to disable the onboard video on your motherboard to get it to recognize the discrete video card.
