Last night I was in the middle of my build and I put in a Ryzen 7 3700X to update my bios, no issues. After, i put in a Ryzen 9 3950X and it posted, no issues. But after I switched out my GTX 1080 for a RTX 3060, nothing. No power at all seeming to be reaching my motherboard, other than some small blinking lights on the bottom, whether I have a gpu plugged in or not. Nowhere in the manual does it explain what these lights mean, all I know is that they’re on the bottom left underside of the board.
I’ve tried everything I could find, CLR_CMOS, taking out the CMOS battery, jumping the power button pins, switching sets of ram and switching slots, switching CPU’s, taking the mobo out the case to prevent any shorting, still nothing. I tried different outlets, I did the paperclip test and my PSU turns on, there just isn’t any power reaching my motherboard. I have my CPU fan plugged in and I’ve reseated the power cable, 24pin, 6+2pin, and 4+4pin connectors in the PSU and on the mobo and still nothing. I’ve used a multimeter to check two power supplies’ voltage and they worked properly.
I’ve tried removing everything from the board except for the power cables as well, still nothing but the small blinking lights under the board.
The mobo has been working for months and was working last night, I have no clue what to do. The only sign of life on the motherboard are some blinking red lights on the back panel. These lights are located on the bottom left side of the motherboard.
