Weeks ago, i used to be able to get on calls with my bluetooth headset (WH-1000XM4) with no problems, except, obvioulsy, hearing everything on low quality audio (which happens with bluetooth devices when the microphone is in use)

However, recently i cant hear ANYTHING as soon as i join a call (discord, teams, etc.) or when my microphone is in use. I can't even hear the other people on the call, but they can hear me clearly through my headset mic.

I tried disabling the hands-free mode, but that just deactivates my mic, and thats not what i want. I want to be able to talk and hear with the same device (with the low quality audio, idc).

I've tried EVERYTHING, the input/output devices are chosen correctly on all apps and computer, i've even tried reinstalling drivers (bluetooth and sound), also tried reinstalling windows and nothing has worked yet. does anybody have a solution?

I want to be able to hear and talk at the same time with my bluetooth headset 🙁

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Does the headset appear in Device Manager?

Do other headsets fully work on your computer?

Does the headset fully work on other computers?

Any audio or Bluetooth related error codes, warnings, or informational events in Reliability History/Monitor?

Try "dism" and "sfc /scannow" to find and fix buggy or corrupted files.

Hello! Sorry for not specifying, at the end it was an issue with my computer, not the headset. I reinstalled a bunch of audio related drivers and as soon as I restarted the issue was solved. Thank you for your help anyways, I appreciate it.
