I have just installed RX 7700XT to my i3 8100 (big bottleneck I know, id doesn't matter) the problem is that the case is pretty small, making it that the hot air kind of gets stuck under, you can see it has only some space from the side. So the case is getting really hot when doing a benchmark for example.
you can see that there are 2 fans, one on the side panel for out take and one on the front for intake.
should I make the front one to out take, if so where will i have intake from? I can add a fan to the back if it helps.
Thank you!
I think the front bottom fan should be exhaust because thats where the hot air builds up, so putting more air in there doesn't seem to make sense to me.

CPU: i3 8100
GPU: RX 7700XT
PSU: antec atom v750 750W, just bought yesterday to replace the original to build old PSI with no PCIE
SSD: 36GB free out of 118GB
HDD: 153GB free out of 930GB
OS: windows 10

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

= = = =

That said, I recommend a good case cleaning to clear out dust and debris.

Reseat all connectors, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections.

Try to neaten up the wires.

Leave the CPU alone for now.

I would make the side input also and add the back fan blowing out.

General guidelines for proper airflow:

- Front, side, and bottom fans are intake. They pull cool air into the case.
- Top and rear fans are exhaust. They suck hot air out of the case.

You want airflow through the system, to cool all components.

Definitely install a rear fan, even if it means removing the current side fan and using it for the rear.

I understand, but doesnt it block the hot air coming out of the gpu to go up? its the only place it can go through

Hot air rises. Using the fans as I (and many others recommend) deals with that.

It also looks like your PSU is drawing hot air out of the case (that is a good thing). In better designed cases, the PSU is on the bottom and often can suck cool air from the bottom of the case itself (like a bottom fan does) to cool the PSU better.

Do you have any front fans?

I don't understand, so should I flip the PSU so the fan would point upwards? wouldn't be a problem considering it will be blocked by the case?
And yes there is a front fan located in the case in the 2nd photo, I also think it might have limited air flow because the air needs to go through these side bars

What model pc case is that? Does it have mesh front?
If it has closed front, then all air intake is coming from those tiny side vents. They are probably full with dust.
Air intake is very obstructed.

Upgrade to a new modern pc case with mesh front and dust filters.
Without dust filters your current case becomes filthy - very quickly.

Standard air flow configuration is 2 or 3 intake fans in front and
one rear exhaust fan.

No, your PSU is fine.

Understood on front fan. Just clean it so it can perform as well as possible.

Move the side cover fan to the rear.
