northwood in a canterwood?

what happens if i put a northwood p4 2.8ghz ht proc in a canterwood mobo such as the 4pca3+?

Which Northwood? obviously a 'C' (800FSB) chip would be ideal, but As and Bs will work too, AFAIK.

A canterwood (875) or springdale(865) motherboard would be an ideal platform for the 2.8HT P4.

Abit IS7 (865/springdale) is about the most recommended, although I've not used one myself.
