Question Not posting unless i press memory ok.

So I haven't used my pc in like 6 months or so, but when I tried turning it on it didn't want to post, so after trying everything it only posts if I press the memory ok button on the motherboard, then I can get it to boot. Thing is, I can restart the PC and it will boot normally but once I turn it on I have to click memory ok.

I was scared first it was that the cpu was dead because the moment I turn it on it gives me q code 00. I think it may just be a bios setting I need to change. If anyone knows what's happening or has had this issue please LMK!

Specs:
i7 7700k
GTX 1080ti
16gb DDR4 Ram
Asus Maximus IX Hero
850 EVGA G3 Plat rated

Consider changing the battery on the motherboard (likely a CR2032) to see if that makes a difference. Sounds like the motherboard may not be saving memory settings properly.

Just swapped it and same thing is happening, also already reset the bios to default.

Remove memory and reseat it. Tried that yet?
