And enough of the rebadge fanboy complaints.
It should be common knowledge all modern GPU's, either NVidia or AMD are all 28nm TSCM chips. And the technology dates from late 2011. The next generation will be 20nm in 2014. TSCM branding should be on them all. And a small sticker software(drivers) by AMD/NVidia. lol...

Many foreign content Mutual Funds(Asia), are made up of a lot of TSCM shares.

You already can, it's called the Quadro K6000:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133494

Fully enabled GK110, 2880 cuda cores at ~900MHz, 12GB GDDR5, 5.2 TFLOPs fp32, 1.7 TFLOPs fp64.

I would assume it would use a lot of power and generate a lot of heat.

I like how I can save $1000 dollars on it now. I mean considering that at normal price its about 4x what I spend on average for my total PC.

And is also 384 bits for that 12gb of vram.

That might be true, but I'm thinking you're just about the last person who would need one. Sooo...

A geforce 780ti only reason I can see for its existince is if it is faster than a titan or just as fast and they are going to discontinue the titan to make a faster one which still makes little since. But if it sits between the 780 and Titan then nvidia that is full blown retarded especially since the 780 galaxy hall of fame edition is the fastest single gpu out faster than the more expensive titan...

Tearing is present on 120Hz+ monitors, but it's harder to perceive (to most) because of the quicker refresh rate.

Another article focused on G-sync indicates these G-sync monitors will operate at 144Hz. That means no tearing all the way up to 144 fps (if I understand this tech correctly). That's pretty substantial, even for we who have 120Hz+ monitors. Even smoother video with G-sync.

This monitor tech should definitely be something universal. Nvidia should cash in and license this for use everywhere.

The 290x's performance was said to rival the Titan but it's benchmarks where more along the lines of "between the 780 and Titan" performance. The 780Ti's specs haven't been announced, so it actually doesn't sit anywhere yet. Any talk about performance before benchmarks is a bunch of crap. If you've read carefully you would see that I'm talking about which cards will *SELL* the most. A descent sized price cut for the 780 non Ti would sell more than the 290x. The 280x is the best value card and it will continue to sell great. (if you weren't smart enough to tell, I'm a budget gamer, not a fan boy) As for the Gtx 780Ti vs r9 290x; I don't really care about trivial flame wars pertaining to unreleased cards :heink:

Great another proprietary piece of Tech from Nvidia, don't get me wrong they make some great products, but there starting to shoot them selfs in the foot with all the high prices and limiting there consumer base with proprietary based hardware etc.

Well they have had their 3D monitors around for some time now and PhysX is also not a new addition and there doesn't seem to be any sign of bankruptcy yet so how long are we going to have to wait to see your prediction come to fruition?

It's there current trends with there high prices and rebrands etc, that will start to deminish there consumer base, that's just fact. Not many people are willing to fork out $600+ for a single video card, at least not the average gamer, not to mention if you plan on going SLI or Crossfire, then it Really gets spendy lols. An I never placed a prediction, all I said was is that there starting to shoot them selfs in the foot with all the high prices, there is no definite predicition 😛.

Yeah, NVidia is definitely screwing themselves with their prices. Video cards are getting so high I might as well continue to save into next year for Maxwell! Maybe the price to performance ratio will be better, but who knows.

Screwing themselves? No. Screwing customer? Might be. Ultimately nvidia is profit making company. So the primary goal is making profit as much as they can

Ha! I'm pretty sure companies that post profits are the ones that stay in business. At least that's what people tell me. I'm not so sure AMD is all that altruistic either. Their 7970 pushed the price of a flagship video card up over the $500 mark when it was first released.

Nvidia could've lowered their prices, made profit, and kept return customers. Screwing their fan base is screwing themselves.

nvidia is not charity company. the more they can make money the better. R&D isn't cheap

So which multi million dollar company do you own? I ask because I'd really like to take a look at your business model and financial status.

Research and development! pffff please... That's a lame excuse, and so is "profit making company". Except that doesn't make any sense because customer retention is more cost effective than acquisition.

If your prices are to high, you will lose customers... it's not rocket science

Seems as though it is for you!

You can continue ignoring the obviously high prices. If you need an explanation or diagram to figure it out i'll try not to use big words next time.

I choose to buy what I can afford, and I can afford to buy Nvidia. If you want to do the same but can't then I understand your pain.
