Question Nvidia app - recorded videos now have an echo in the sound ?

I guess this is a Windows and/or Nvidia issue, and both could be at fault.
I asked at Nvidia forum but not much help there.

Since the big recent Windows update, now whenever I record video from games (using nvidia app) there is an annoying echo to the sound which makes the videos unplayable.
The settings seems to be as they were and should be.

What to do?

In your audio settings(assuming you're on Windows 11), for your microphone, see if Listen to this device is enabled. If so, disable it and then see if the echo goes away.

I just looked and I don't use a mic and there is no setting for that in my settings
I have an SSL2 audio interface, and it has some psysical inputs, and then nvidia is set to use the "loopback" setting for recording.
But this is the same now as before the echo came
