I dunno about this, another limited release with over inflated prices, for a $600+ card that will probably need a 1kw power supply. it better do some AMAZING stuff and be good thru DX13.

Ive Been Waiting For Fermi Before Upgrading My Machine With New CPU, Boot HDD, And Case, Everything Else (My 500GB WD Will Become My Secondary) Will Be Reused. But Im Waiting For A Cheaper Geforce "GT450" Or Something Along Those Lines. Please See My Upgrade Link In The Forums;

[citation][nom]etrnl_frost[/nom]Actually, yes, I am waiting for this to come out so I can get a 285 on the cheap...[/citation]
dont get the gtx285, its a waste as in my opinion, I am an Nvidia guy and i have had 5 previous Nvidia cards, but I ended up getting a 5850 coz it was reasonable and a great card, the preformance is still much better than the gtx285 at a CHEAPER cost. If not, then just wait and get the Fermi gtx460, or 480 if you can take a hit of $500-600

Geez, I always have loved NVidia but went with a XFX Radeon 5870. Quiet, low on the juice meter when idling, and is way overkill for my 1920 by 1200 monitor. Increasing my framerate from 120 to 240 does not seem like a worthwhile upgrade for some reason!

Nvidia, you are taking too long, hurry up, dx11/3d, love the numbers 8 and 5 on the end of my vid card and will buy ASAP.(though $500 is my limit ha ha ha)

My sons single 8800gtx (g92) still plays anything at mostly high settings.
