i said the 4070 because he was using qhd, but i mentioned that the amd equivelent had better preformance. In just rasterization the 7900xt is faster with the 7900gre and 4070S trading blows with the gre taking a slight lead depending on the title. With ray tracing the 4070S gains ground. Price wise the 7900xt is $100-150 more than the gre and super.
GN has a good review that includes all 3 cards.View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3o4sZklnJo
so they are identical?amd equivelent had better preformance.
If it's in your budget then I'd say its between the 4070ti and the 7900xt. If you want to play with Ray tracing get the 4070 Ti, if you just want the most FPS out of most titles then get the 7900xt.this is price in italy:
- 600 4070 Super
- 730 4070 Ti
- 840 4070 Ti super
- 750 7900XT
- 560 7900 gree

Also make sure your PSU is up to the task of powering these cards.
no, but when i said equivalent, i ment that they were competing against each other.so they are identical?
also that might be tricky with that psu, i dont know what the wattage of these cards are specifically, but theyre def alot.my psu is Thermaltake paris 650
Sorry, I didn't understand the message thenno, but when i said equivalent, i ment that they were competing against each other.
So you are going to want to include a new PSU in the budget.my psu is Thermaltake paris 650
its alright, but your def gonna need a new psu.Sorry, I didn't understand the message then

you could try lookin used, and your atleast gonna need an 850 w psu for those gpusI budgeted for the monitor, case, GPU and PSU. I don't know about RAM as DDR4 is about to disappear now
explain to me, we still don't understand each other? haha
what is the cpu btw? a budget would also help.I budgeted for the monitor, case, GPU and PSU. I don't know about RAM as DDR4 is about to disappear now

5600 x with 16 gb ram 2400what is the cpu btw? a budget would also help.
The slow ram is likely going to cost you some FPS.5600 x with 16 gb ram 2400
850 is recomended but 750 is also good, just be careful about oc it
I was also advised to get the 5900x + 16 or 32 GB 3200mhz of RAM... the problem is that with an end-of-life socket I can't afford that expenseThe slow ram is likely going to cost you some FPS.
Info - Recommended PSU capacities for gaming graphics cards
Below are my recommendations for PSU requirements on gaming graphics cards. The recommendations are not intended to be "minimum", as there is certainly some overhead built into these recommendations. The reason is twofold. For one, many users will opt for lower quality models regardless of...forums.tomshardware.com
For gaming with your current platform the 5800X3d would be a better option. You'd also want to get some ddr4 3600 with it as 2400 would just hamstring it.I was also advised to get the 5900x + 16 or 32 GB 3200mhz of RAM... the problem is that with an end-of-life socket I can't afford that expense

You don't have to do it all at once. Get the gpu upgrade then later on look at a cpu and ram upgrade and possible just upgrade the platform(cpu, motherboard and ram). To squeeze more FPS from the gpu upgrade.
What GPU are you currently using?
