indeed, between the two (4070s and 7900xt) which of the two wins both in terms of time lag and between fsr and dlss?
Unfortunately, having the old card, I can't play the new titles
dlss if you want high quality with fair fps 2k-4k (and i mean fair), amd if you want high preformance at 1440 or 1080p.

no no, case
Hi. I'm very partial to Thermaltake, but there so many really good case manufacturers. I like full towers because there is so much room to work inside of them, and GPUs keep getting better. I don't know Tom's policy allows for making suggest about various websites that can be very helpful, but I will try offering them to you here and see what happens. If it doesn't work I would do a Google search with your question and you will get a lot of suggestions for websites that can help you.
I recommend checking out the following Youtube Tech channels for information

and advice. Of course Tom’s has a lot of articles on various subjects that you

can search also.

If you can play without DLSS the 7900 GRE is a great option, but if you mainly use your graphics card for production and use DLSS go with the 4070S.
the 7900gre/xt is good that it plays in pure power unlike the dlss which is a dynamic image quality. I think it's the same thing in the end except that with gree/xt the graphics work statically. I don't know what stage they are at at RT level but I don't know whether to prefer more RAM or more technologies.
I study\program at an academic level and play, I don't render with blender etc

but therefore the use of rt and dlss is not convenient?
The price of the xtx in Italy is 928.50
That's not too bad. The cost of the XTX in Canada is $1260CAD which is $920USD. The thing is that the XTX can do very good RT in pretty much all games not called Cyberpunk 2077. Even so, I've tried turning on RT with my XTX and I've found that it's just not worth it. DLSS on the other hand, is an nVidia-only feature. The XTX would use FSR or XESS instead but let's be honest here, a card as potent as an RX 7900 XTX isn't going to need upscaling anytime soon.

so only in cyberpunk does rt and pt work?

After doing a ton of research, watching benchmarks, thinking alot over some 4months in my spare time. I decided on NVIDIA because:
- nvidia just seem to be better in software, less bugs, more support etc.
-nvidia clearly are better in productivity like adobe.
-nvidia clearly does ray tracing better, more frames.
-amd seem to enjoy lagging behind and dropping the ball.
-gpu prices are still very high for amd flagship, at least in my area.
-most importantly the 4800super dropped 300bucks in about 1.5months getting to same price as amd's flagship so it was a no brainer.
-tied in with my decision was that the price gap between the 4080super and 4900 is extreme, the 4090 was 83% more than the 4080super and for only 35%more fps at 4k (irrc). nvidia are pricing their flashship like flagship headphones, irrational pricing.

Hi everyone, I'm doing an upgrade on my PC and I'm undecided between the GPUs in question:
4070 super
4900Gre
4900XT

As for the monitor, I now have an FHD but I have to buy a 2K
Because the driver environment is a bit different, things go easier if you stick with whatever environment you now use; Nvidia or AMD
