Good day!Want to easy upgrade of my home computer for work with video + motion graphics.
System at the moment:

mother: Asrock Fatal1ty B250 Gaming K4
CPU: intel i7-7700k
System SSD: Samsung 850 pro 256GB
Storage HDD: WD blue 4TB
GPU: Nvidia 4200k 4GB
RAM: Dual 2100 16GB + 16GB

The motherboard has 2 m.2 slots (https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Fatal1ty B250 Gaming K4 / index.ru.asp # Specification)
1 x Ultra M.2 Gen3 x4 (32 Gb / s)
1 x M.2 Gen3 x2 (16 Gb / s)

I decided to put in Gen3 x4 -> SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS 500GB M.2 PCIE MZ-V7S500BW
Gen3 x2 -> Crucial P1 M.2 SSD 1TB, but I'm more inclined to Intel 660p M.2 SSD 1TB SSDPEKNW010T8X1

The question is where and what is better to put?
Leave the main system on SSD or put to 970EVO +, or on 660p? (and put programs to 970EVO + or even leave it for the cache or projects). HDD for a long-term storage. Have 1xSSD and 2xNMVE. Where is much more rational to put the system, cache, programs and working projects?

Thanks a lot!

Solution
I think I would buy a 1tb samsung 970 EVO for your m.2 slot.
It will be stronger than the less expensive 660p.
Use the samsung ssd migration app to move your current setup to the 970.
Put all you can on the 970.
You may find a use for the 850 PRO as a workfile.
For backup buy an external usb connected hard drive.
